My TTC includes: Malvern Line

_This is what I consider the best potential TTC project:

_A diagonal rapid transit* line along the SL&H/CP rail corridor from Malvern to the TTC yard at Bathurst & Dupont. With potential [major stops] at:
[+] Dupont Stn. terminus (George Brown college, Spadina TTC line, UofT nearby)
[+] Summerhill Stn. (Yonge line)
Millwood /Laird
[+] Don Mills near DVP, [+] Eglinton & [+] Lawrence area
[+] Kennedy & 401
[+] Sheppard /Midland (Agincourt GO stn. nearby)
Markham Rd, Malvern
_Such a severely diagonal hub line would reduce commuting pressure on the DVP, east 401 with mega park 'n rides. The Yonge subway line and numerous horizontal connecting bus routes across east Toronto would be greatly alleviated from North-east Scarborough & Markham area commuters who would then have a more direct access route into Mid /Downtown Toronto.

_Unfortunately, the vacant strip along the south side of Shaftesbury Ave at Yonge (Summerhill, directly against the rail line) was developed for squeezed town housing in the late '90s - the TTC entrance is on the opposite north side. There is still a refurbished Train station / gov't owned LCBO on the track's other side available.
_This project would open up workable 'big-city' transit across a large & neglected area of the GTA.
* the exact locomotion system, etc. used is best left to free-thinking engineers.
