Wow, I just checked the OLG website (minutes before midnight, EST). They already had the prize announcement for next week's LottoMax draw displayed. The amount, btw, stands at $50 million plus 2 extra draws. Note: Lotto 6/49 for tomorrow night's twice-weekly draw is for $25 million.
Often I will watch the Toronto late news, on a Friday, and be told that an unknown winner - general location still unknown as well, cannot yet be confirmed. I didn't expect this next exact prize amount (with no current winner) to be publicly available - before midnight. I guess Faye Dance knows her stuff*.
