Woodgrain HDTV?

Another cool item found online: an HDTV-in-cabinet. A new twist on a former commonplace retro item. via Digitalhome.ca's Over-the-Air Forum.
Except it is missing the TV lamp on top. ;)

Actually, I'd settle for a new TV that can optionally switch channels WITHOUT the dreaded on-screen clutter (which too often hangs around for a couple Mississippi's). And maybe also a three to five channel Last Channel Button option as well. That would be fantastic for sports viewing! Or, perhaps a picture - beside picture feature, similar to the old picture-in-picture feature.
That, and maybe a universal remote control that has ALL the buttons I actually use or wish for, and none of the dozens that I haven't a clue about. :)
