Smile like it's 1972.

I had only caught* the late news' highlights from last night's final (4th) game in a Canada - Russia hockey series involving youth players. In was in commemoration of the extraordinary and fabled 8-game 1972 Summit Series. We won.
Canada won the 2012 series in a late game comeback fashion - almost as it was done before.

* I didn't even know the series was taking place during this mid-month - while overlapping the Summer Olympics event. That 1972 series was one of the most pivotal moments in Canadian history of the last 50 years.
Remember that it takes a great opponent to create a meaningful victory. There's no Dream Team nonsense involved.
